Yamaha has introduced a new colour option for the YZF-R15 in the Malaysian market. The 155cc, fully-faired motorcycle is now available in the silver paint. The styling is complemented by fluorescent yellow wheels that enhance the overall looks of the YZF-R15. The international-spec YZF-R15, unlike the Indian version, uses upside-down front forks that look sportier. The golden colour to the fork tubes looks stylish and goes well with the overall colour theme of the motorcycle. The changes, however, are limited to the new paint option. Everything else remains unchanged, and the YZF-R15 continues to use a twin-pod LED headlight at the front, a digital instrument cluster, split-style seats and a full-fairing design. The hardware comprises upside-down front forks, rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels.
The motorcycle retails for RM11,988 (Rs 2.20 lakh) in the Malaysian market. The new paint option is not available in India, although the motorcycle is available in four colours in our market. Buyers in India can select the YZF-R15 V3.0 in Metallic Red (new), Thunder Grey, Racing Blue, and Dark Knight.
